A guidance in awareness

Observations
Life is more vibrant and intense, when we are present here and now.
Usually our attention is drifting outward, rarely inward. Where ever our attention goes we may practicing becoming more aware of our self and the sensations here and now.
It could be called self-love and self-remembrance. An acceptance of all that we are, and that which we become for a while.
At the same time we experience inner peace and joy, which are healing.
Although it sounds simple, it may be difficult, if we are used to looking forward and asking outward rather than inward here and now.
A little more details
Body, mind and consciousness are anatomically and energetically one unit. We sense with our entire body. We are always "on-line." Mostly we are unaware of the many millions of sensory impressions we receive every second.
The thoughts we have about what we sense can trigger our emotions that are felt in the body from head to toe, from the inside out. Consciousness is the attentive observer.
The body heals many conditions on its own in inner peace. From there it is easier to make new decisions that can lead to greater awareness and well-being. There are as many ways to well-being as there are people.
Conscious presence and inquiry are ways to integrate the experience of connectedness between body, mind, and consciousness. It is a way to inner peace and freedom.
During this process, one will be able to experience both discomfort and well-being, in short, life in its diversity.
The process
Life is a process. We never know for sure what will happen until the day is over, and certainly not in 1 year, 5 years, or 10 years.
Basically, we can only take one step and one day at a time, and then we can learn to regain balance when we lose our footing for a while. Through this proces we gradually experience more and more inner peace, freedom and joy.
By being more aware of our thoughts and bodily sensations, we may experience them appearing and disappearing, and thereby recognising that we are more than our thoughts and bodily sensations. We are also the consciousness that observes it. This knowing makes it easier to let go of fixed beliefs about ourselves and our suffering.
It is good perhaps even necessary to have a daily practice of awareness training and/or taking time to be in silence with yourself in your own ways. It is a bit like riding a bike, at first it has to be learned and practiced, eventually it becomes a natural way of moving through life.
The first step is acceptance of how things are right now, it provides immediate peace.
"We cannot solve problems with the same mind that created them"
Quote Albert Einstein
In other words, we cannot solve problems with the same approach that created them. Therefore, we must be prepared to let go of previous ways and self-limiting beliefs and surrender it to that which is greater than us. That which created us, that which we are made of and one with.
Nature's rhythm, intelligence, changeability and unpredictability are a mirror of our own complex nature and the grandeur of life. Therefore, spending time in nature and natural movement of our body is also a natural part of the process.
